DRV8312EVM kit hall inputs connection problem

Hello, everyone.

The BLDC control kit DRV8312EVM has a connector J10 on the PCB. But it is not compatible to the hall inputs wires. I mean the hall inputs wires can not connected directly with J10. J10 is just some copper-pin connector

How do you solve the problem? Do we need other connectors?

Hi Wang,

A quick search at Digikey of theJ10 connector part number S1011E-05 shows numerous mating connectors. Once you enter the part number, scroll to the bottom for mating products.

In the past, I have acquired a mating connector. Then using shrink tubing, I soldered the 5 wires on the connector to complete the connection.

yes, there are all sorts of male connectors / male jumpers that can be used.

Yes. I think the best way is to solder wires to connect them.
