RTC sends Erroneous clock readings some times

HI,

I am using BQ32000 RTC chip interfaced with LM3s6965. After few hours RTC starts sending erroneous readings to MCU. if i restarts the program execution RTC would be sending correct readings for few hours again it will starts sending error readings. Please help me.

    Hi Man,

    Do you still have this issue? I am not familiar with the BQ32000, but will try to assist or find the answer.

    Can you provide more details about the readings and timing? Is it possible that the something is happening at a specific time causing this? Are the errorenous readings out of sync somehow, meaning that if you took some bits of one word and some of another, the data is correct?

    Any additional information you can provide will help us.
