I'm controlling a DRV8832 from a 3.3V micro. The DRV8832 is running at 5.5VDC. I would like run the motor at a 100% duty cycle. Can VSET be driven by one of the I/O lines from the micro?
Thanks, Doane

Hi Doane,
To run the DRV8832 as a conventional H-bridge at 100% duty cycle. From datasheet.
"Note that if the programmed output voltage is greater than the supply voltage, the device will operate at 100%
duty cycle and the voltage regulation feature will be disabled. In this mode the device behaves as a conventional
H-bridge driver."
So you could connect VSET to VREF to drive at 5.14V or to a GPIO (3.3V) which will set some level high than the supply (entering the mode described above).
