Going over the data sheet for the DRV8301, Three Phase Pre-Driver with Dual Current Shunt Amplifiers and Buck Regulator, looking at the default values for the control registers.
Now for OC_Mode (gate driver only) the default for Address 0x02 Control Register 1 D5 and D4 is both logic zero meaning Current limiting when OC detected.
Now lookin at the same register at D10, D9, D8, D7 and D6 we have the OC_ADJ_SET table. See Sheet 21 Table 9 of the data sheet.
I can not find the default values of the OC_ADJ_SET.
If I place a new DRV8301 in my motor driver PCBA and do not access it, what are the Vds trip points?
I need this for DFMEA analysis.
