Wiring boostxl drv8301 to individual µC

Hi,

what else is needed to run the drive stage of the boostxl drv8301.

As i`ve seen from the Hardware User's Guide, simply the en_gate and the six PWM has to wired up to the µC? Or does DC_cal has to be bound to GND as well?

is the six PWM mode enable by default or how can i switch between six PWM and three PWM mode?

Hi Jakob,

Yes, EN_GATE and the PWMs are the only required control inputs, though you may want to watch FAULT.

DC_CAL has a pull down on the board.

You can change the PWM mode over SPI. The default settings are shown in the datasheet.
