Hello,
My customer has a question about DRV8824's TSD.
When the die temperature exceeds 150degree, the device will be disabled.
When before disabled, the device neglect of only one pulse as attach file.
What happen the device?
Ofcourse I suggest to him to use the device under more low temperature.
But he wants to know above condition.
Please tell me the answer.
Regards
Naoki
Hi Aoyama-san,
Please ask the customer to examine the nHOME and nFAULT pins during the highlighted time.
The DRV8824 appears to have entered a reset condition (UVLO or TSD) that caused the indexer to reset. nHOME should go high while the channel1 current is going negative and go low when the current switches back to positive.
Another indication is the three consecutive positive current readings on channel2. In normal operation, there should only be two positive readings.
Hi Rick,
I'm sorry for reply late.
I will ask my customer to check the nHOME and nFAULT pins.
When I get the results I will post again.
Thanks
Naoki Aoyama
