I would just install a new version, you have unlimited access since you are using XDS100 JTAG (on the controlCARD). Those projects in the kit (in controlSUITE for latest) were build with CCSv4. You can migrate them to CCSv5 relatively easily....5 is a much better IDE than 4.
With the DRV8312 Rev D EVM you can also use TMDSCNCD28069MISO to try InstaSPIN-FOC and InstaSPIN-MOTION.

The Download CCS Version 5.5.0.00077 for Windows link just spins "waiting for www.ti.com...". I'm using Chrome, and the same thing happens with IE8.
Can someone confirm that the service is live.
Is it the same domain as my.TI, or do I have to create a separate account to download?
Could CCS download site think I'm unfriendly and have timed me out? (various other people have done this to me already today).
Sorry to ask mundane questions, but this issue is really hurting and I need to get things moving.
Bryan, sorry to hear of this problem. It works for me. It uses the same login as my.TI accounts. Try deleting your browser cache, because that cache affects what the following webpage displays, and I've seen it make a difference.
Best regards,
RE
Bryan, I uploaded the 3MB file to my Google Drive to get you running:

The new Windows XP environment is built and I've installed the latest CCS, so far everything looks good and tomorrow (later today!) I'll compile a project and test the new build.
Thanks once again for everyone's assistance.
