Hi,

Hi I am using DRV8301 LS12 evluation module. I am connecting the module via xds100V2 .

I am able to run the application "foc_encoder_speed" that came along with the kit, but my code composer studio(CCS5.5) is hanging when i am closing the application. Could you please tell me what is closing procedure?

1. set “gGUIObj.SpdCmd” and “gGUIObj.CtrlType” to 0.

2.set “gGUIObj.EnableFlg" to 0.

3. Pressed Terminate execution( RED button in Debug window) . The code composer studio become hang.

( I also tried pressing disconnect Target, but result is same)

Could you guide me, what is the exact procedure for shutdown of the processor?

Hi Rathinavel,

Steps 1-3 are the proper procedure to disconnect the debugger (should not need to disconnect the target). I am unsure why Code Composer Studio is hanging after hitting the RED button. I have used this procedure on the equivalent TMS28027F kit and had no issues. Does it hang forever?
