Hello,

My customer uses the DRV8844.

He has some questions about the dead time and switching characteristics.

Q1) How about a variation of dead time and deglitch time due to the temperature from -40 to +85 degree?

Q2) How about a variation of switching characteristics due to the temperature from -40 to +85 degree?

He wants to simulate a worst case condition.

Q1) How about a variation of dead time and deglitch time due to the temperature from -40 to +85 degree?

For dead time, we only have the similation data from 0C to +85C.

High side OFF to Low side ON:

Normal case

244ns(0C) to 251ns(85C)@30V VM-VNEG

Worse case

407ns(0C) to 450ns(85C) @60V VM-VNEG

OCP deglitch time:

TYP 5us. It is determined by internal clk. will have <10% increasing at 85C

The switching characteristics is design specified. Table of P6 gives the over all MIN to MAX range from -40C to +85C.
