DRV595 Power Dissipation

DRV595 datasheet P12 has equation (5) to calculate Power Dissipation.

Also explain about calculation example as follows.

“at the maximum output current of 3 A through a total on-resistance of 60 mΩ (at T J = 25°C), the power dissipated in the package is 1.1 W.”

According to the equation (5) calculation result is 0.54W as follows and half of caluculation example.

 Pdiss=Iout^2 * Rdson=3^2 * 0.06=0.54W

 

DRV595 has H-Bridge so upper and lower FET has dissipation. So I believe Pdiss=2 * Iout^2 * Rdson.

Please advise correct equation of Pdiss.
