I am using drv8834 IC for thermal printer project. i need source code in both phase enable mode as well as indexer mode of stepper motor. Can anyone share the details with me?

Hi Yusup,

There are several examples of using indexer mode available. The DRV8834EVM files, http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slvc421, found at the DRV8834EVM folder contain indexer mode code. Another example of indexer mode is the recently released boost-drv8711.

Go to http://www.ti.com/tool/boost-drv8711, then scroll down to Related Products Software. The zipped hardware and software file contains an example of indexer mode.

An example of PH/EN mode can be found in the DRV8812EVM. Go to http://www.ti.com/tool/drv8812evm, then scroll down to Related Products Software. The zipped Board files and Software file contains the example.

Please note that all of these examples rely on a GUI, so there is more code than required.
