    Hi James

    RPM = FG*60/(POLE/2)

    FG limit for DRV8307 is 6.7kHz

    So, you can get RPM = 200000 for 4pole and 100000 for 8pole motor.

    That is a very high speed which is close to the limit of most BLDC motors. DRV8307 is good at driving fast motors.

    Hi James,

    The max operating Hall input frequency is 30kHz.  For a 4-pole BLDC, that equals 900k RPM.  For an 8-pole BLDC, that equals 450k RPM.

    I think usually the motor used and VM voltage will determine the max RPM.
