DRV8828EVM / Decay mode Frame

Hi Team,
 
I'd like to ask about GUI of DRV8828EVM.
I think selection of ①/② and ③ are both selection of "Decay Mode", so I think these are overlapped.
What is the purpose of selecting ③(Decay Mode Frame) ? Is it neccesary to select?

    Hi Yaita

    The upper side and bottom side are two indepent GUI functions. If you change anything in upper side, all the configuration will be changed to upper side (over ride by upper side setting). In the other hand, if you change anything in lower side, all the setting will be shifted to lower side parameters.

    The decay mode setting at bottom side is specially controlled according to the micro stepping requirement. Please refer to 4.4.3 of the EVM User's Guide.
