Hi!

I bougth an DRV8432DKDR ic last week.I want to drive via an PIC18F4550 microcontroller.Any experiments for drive the chip by this uC.Please share your experiments about this.

I want to use DRV8432's mode4 (2 full bridge and 2 motors) and can be adjust the current of motor as a digital.

Motor properties 12v 5A

and GVDD and PVDD=12VDC

Please take a look at the DRV8412-C2-Kit. The DRV8412 has the same interface/logic/etc...it is just a pad down version of the DRV8432.

Since this is a TI forum, we have no PIC code...but, code is provided for the DRV8412 kit that will do what you want and TI C2000 is used as the micro.

Ryan,

I use DRV8432DKDR for my prototype.Don't care PIC code for this application.I want to learn that how to use current control by PIC micro.There is a lot of mixed application exist.But needed to this project is can change DRV8432's current limit during the motor running.

However,i can measure motor's current and uC can route.

Application has two motors.Each motor 12v 5A.Is it enough two PWM channel to this application?Is OC_ADJ pin just for over current limit?Can i use OC_ADJ pin to current measurement?
