Can you be more specific? What is it about mosfet drivers that you would like to know?
In general, mosfet drivers are required because:
1) the gate of a power mosfet requires a larger driver to turn it on and off fast.
2) many circuits use a N-channel FET to switch the supply voltage on and off. This requires the voltage at the gate of the FET to be 8 to 12V above the supply voltage. The mosfet driver handle this by using either a charge pump or bootstrap circuit.
