Hi Team,

Our customer are studying DRV8834 at the following circuit.

Because, they would like to decrease the on-resistance(RDS(on)) of HS FET and LS FET.

Can you recommend this circuit?

And, could you please let us know if you have any concerns?

Regards,

Kanemaru

  • Hi Kanemaru

If only a DC motor to be driven. DRV8833 or DRV8835 may be more close to the application. Also both these two we have the parallel diagram in datasheet.

If must using DRV8834, based on the parallel scheme of the DRV8835, we can connect xISEN together as well.

Also there is APN may have us to understand the key points of doing the parallel connection.

  • Hi Wilson-san,

    Thank you for the information!

I understood that your recommended circuit is the following.

    Is my understanding incorrect?

Please review this and let me know if you have any advice.

we can connect xISEN together as well.

    (I referred to "SLVA320".)
