Are the pins outs to the 8412 done such that I can get to them externally - specifically the PWM controls? I know the 8412 development board has this capability of course - but with the -C2 and the micro on board are the PWM signals hard wired to the processor and thus not accessible for other testing that I might want to do just regarding the 8412?

Hi Gary, here's the schematic for the main board (which is also included in ControlSuite). The processor plugs in on connector J1, and you can disconnect it to isolate the PWM and RESET signals to the DRV8412. That connector is on the left side of this picture: http://www.ti.com/graphics/tool/DRV8412-C2-KIT.jpg

Can you elaborate on why you say that the micro is hard-wired to the processor? Are you looking at a different kit than what I linked?

I'm looking at using the 8412 on existing hardware to replace older H bridge controllers.... eventually we might use the Piccolo to move to a complete TI solution but for now its a 2 part solution for current and future products. I see its not pinned out. So I might have to get both the 8412 board as well as the 8412-C2 for future dev. Thanks... you've answered my question (and FAST as well!)
