Hi

My customer is using DRV8805.
He uses this driver by two phase excitation mode.

Could you let me know Iout value of RECOMMENDED OPERATING CONDITIONS at using two channels?
In datasheet of RECOMMENDED OPERATING CONDITIONS, there are two case of single channel and four channels.
I want to know Recommend Iout value at the case of two channels.

Hi Shimizu-san,

The recommendation would be approximately 1.4 A in the PWP, and approximately 1.06A in the DW package at 25C.

These recommendations are based on power calculations of 1 versus 4 outputs on.
