Hello,

i am currently using the DRV8301 Motor Pre-Driver in a new design. Now usually in datasheets of gate drivers one can find an absolute maximum rating concerning maximum over- and undershoot on the source-return pin of the high-side FET. Now over- and undershoot is definitely an issue in almost every design, so I'm really interested in how much the DRV8301 can tolerate on the SH_x Pins.

Hi Sebastian,

My apologies for the delay getting back to you.

It is recommended to maintain the SH_X pins within the following range:

SH_X with respect to PGND
MIN -1.2V DC -2.0 for <1us, -10 V for <10 ns
MAX 65 V DC, 70 V for <10 ns

Also, please note the datasheet was update last month.
