I am familar with shunt current sensing directly on motor phases.
TI's DRV8303 application notes recommends schematics with shunt sensing on the lower-side of the half bridge.
I misunderstand the reason of this schematic in comparison with phase sensing.
Is there any known state of the art steps to properly reconstract per-phase currents from these measurements?
What should the start of conversion be synchronized with (i.e. what PWM event should trig the conversion) in this case?
