  • Hi Farina,

Can you provide some additional information?

    What EVM are you using?
Can you provide the procedure you are performing?
Can you provide a screenshot of the message?
  • EVM Rev D
i did the procedure exactly likeTI Designs 00142 High current BLDC motor drive. i got it from texas instrument website under motorware lab.

for now i have able to connect drv8301 with insta-spin BLDC.
when i click enable motor, motor did not run.

but when i try using insta foc, the motor run.
  • you must have TMDSCNCD28069MISO card if the InstaSPIN-FOC / MotorWare projects run.

The controlSUITE InstaSPIN-BLDC GUI project is build for the TMDSCNCD28035ISO controlCARD - a different MCU variant.

If you want to use the IS-BLDC GUI you need this card.

The controlSUITE project - NOT the GUI - are actually dual built for F28035 and F28069. However, the F28069M (which runs MotorWare) is not exactly the same as an F28069. The IQmath library is not in the same ROM location so the project will not work with F28069M controlCARD as-is. You can add the IQmath library and probably get it to work...but I suggest just getting TMDSCNCD28035ISO if you really want to use InstaSPIN-BLDC.
