I need help to SCL and SDA on the DRV10975 EVM board to a minimum 22Vdc, so that I can do programming.

Yes, the on board EEPROM from the USB2ANY to Laptop.

How can I do what it.

Do I need to cut the PCB, or add some things to it.

HJi Wilson Zuo,

i have a DRV10975 BOARD which I bought from TI.
I setup the board and it operate because of the program in the chip.
So I wanted to the program of the chip on the board.
One method is by removing the chip from the board and program it.
This is more hard.

So the other method is to program it on board.
I have connected the board with the EEPROM from the USB2ANY to Laptop.

Do I need to cut the PCB, or add some things to it.
How can I do what it.

I think you can always program the device on the board. Why you need to cut anything?

Yes, I think what you think, but not the case.

Even I have the USB connected or not it always the same.

So, i think is somethings wrong.

Hi HP

I heard that some customer said the usb2any may need update the firmware before working properly. Have you proceeded that ? The GUI will guide you the update process.

Hi HP

It should be popped out automatically when you connected the GUI with the USB2ANY if it need update. The update process will need you press and hold the switch through the tiny hole aside the USB jack first, when plugging in the USB port to get the tool powered.

I already tried this many times.

How to connect the 22Vdc minimum on the on-board to do programming.
And how and where to connect the 4.7k-ohm to 3.3Vdc for the programming also.

Hi HP

You can use an adjustable supply connected to the kit. After tuning on 12V about all the parameters, then, rise the voltage to 24V and process the EEPROM writing.

All the 4.7k pull up of SDA/SCK can be connected to any external supply.

Hi Wilson,

Can all the components of the 10975 with-stand the 24Vdc, that is what I'm worried.

The SCL & SDA already have the 4.7k-ohm (R5 & R6) connected to V3P3, so it is ok to have a 24Vdc connected to the board.

Hi Niklas,

It seem to solve on the board, without blowing anythings.

But how can I how whether it is writing to EEPROM or not.

Because I click the writeEEPROM, i cannot see anything, even I thevalue from '0' to '1'

I tried and nothing to the board, it seem to be ok.

Then I tried to writesomethings to the board, EEPROM but nothing happen.

Hi Wilson,

OK, now problem is, I wanted to run the HDD Drive motor at 5400rpm and 7200rpm.
I'm using the DRV10975 as it is 12Vdc drive, so most suitable.
So can I do the programming to have that condition, that is the first step.
