Hi Team,

My customer considers to use DRV8828 for his application but his board area is restricted.

It seems the sense resistor(R3, R7) of DRV8828EVM is a large part.
Can I use smaller part for the resistor?
I would also appreciate if you tell me the guideline to select the sense resistor.

    Hi Yaita,

    It is possible to use smaller one when you don't need high current.

    You can use P=(I^2)*R. Here the I use the setting level (MAX) of DRV8828. So we can get margin with this equation.

    And then, you can google the relationship of SMT size and watt.
