Hi,

According to datasheet, DRV2700 has an internal temperature sensor that shuts down the boost converter and amp when the temperature threshold is exceeded.

What is the temperature threshold?

We want to know when thermal shutdown function works.

Hello,

There is not a very good way to measure it since it is based on the die temperature (Tj). However to keep it simple, you can treat the thermal shutdown at Tj=150C.

Tj=150C is Absolute Maximum Rating of Operating junction temp for this device.
Would the thermal shutdown works at Tj=150C before the device damaged?

Hello,
The thermal shutdown will enable to prevent the device being damaged. The Tj will be slightly higher than 150, but is not an exact number that I could share.
