Here the Ivm only means all the current goes from the power supply into the VM pin of DRV8711, not counting in the branch of motor current through MOSFETs.

This Ivm is powering all the internal circuits and functions of DRV8711 including the charge pump, gate driver, LDO, logic core, comparators, DAC, and etc.
