RTC chip BQ32002/BQ32000 Battery drain current issue

BQ32000 has a known issue when battery is initially attached to RTC, the battery drain current could be as high as 80uA,

it need a power cycle to make the battery drain current back to 1uA.

Does TI fixed this problem ?

I noticed TI has launced a new RTC product BQ32002 ,

does BQ32002 has similiar issues ?
