DRV10983 Current protection

My customer is using DRV10983.
He has a question about Current protection.

How does DRV10983 recover to operating condition?
I think auto recover. but I don't know detail.
Hiccup? If it is hiccup, Could you let me know interval time of seeing OCP condition?

Hi Shimizu-san,

Please refer to Table 6 - DRV10983 Current Limit Mode.

There are two protections against over current -
In case of over current detection through soft control - lock detection will be fired so device will re-start after lock recovery time
In case of over current detection through hard OC - device will tri-stat the driver for that given PWM cycle and try again on the next PWM cycle.

I'm sorry. I asked about 9.3.2.3 Current Protection.

It occurs if the current, as measured from the FETs, exceeds the IOC-limit threshold.

If current became under IOC-limit threshold, Is DRV10983 recovered from current protection condition(the output drivers into a high-impedance state)?

Shimizu-san,Table 9.6.4 explains the overcurrent scenarios
When current crosses OC lint threshold, it stops driving the motor ( high impedance state for drivers).
The Overcurrent status bit is Set till its read. When system is recovered from fault (Current below Ioc threshold) it resumes normal operation.
