I just bought this kit. I would like to drive BLDC both sensorless and sensor by using source code (not InstaSPIN-BLDC application). The USB stick that I have got with the Kit, the information is for DRV8312. Anyway, I have downloaded and installed both CCS 6.1 and controlSUITE. But I couldn’t find the proper documents and files to progress on those. Could you please suggest me, how can I use CCS6.1 in the easiest way, how can I find the clear example to implement both control strategies (with and without hall sensors) to drive the BLDC?

Hi Chawanakorn,

You can find all the hardware and software related to the kits in the C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits folder after installed controlSUITE.
Also you can download motorware as a good reference of your application. There are labs step by step.

For more software info, you can post your question in C2000 forum. e2e.ti.com/.../

to clarify, your kit is supported through controlSUITE
yes, the USB sticks were misprogrammed somehow. All the SW is in controlSUITE.

MotorWare is for InstaSPIN-FOC and InstaSPIN-MOTION solutions, which you can use with your DRV8301 EVM, but you will need a different controlCARD: TMDSCNCD28069MISO

you can apply the SW for F28035 controlCARD from controlSUITE
C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV830x-HC-C2-KIT_v105

there is a GUI, project for InstaSPIN-BLDC, and project for SMO sensorless FOC.
