DRV8308 ENABLE polarity sets with register write

The DRV8308 data sheet states that "the polarity of ENABLE cannot be modified during operation through register writes;  it is controlled only by the contents of the ENPOL bit in OTP memory."

We've found that ENABLE polarity will change by writing the ENPOL bit in register 0x00, independent of what OTP has.

Is the datasheet incorrect?

    Yes, that statement is incorrect.  My guess is that it might have been true at one point during the device's development, but the final design definitely supports changing ENPOL anytime with a register write.  I will get this fixed.
