Parameter values(Dc current shunt resistor and Capacitor etc) in the DRV8312-69M kit

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8312, CONTROLSUITE

I'm using the DRV8312-69M kit. I have attached the picture of the inverter circuit where I'm are not able to find the parameter values labeled Rsh, R1, R2, C2. We checked the board schematic and the DRV8312 inverter datasheet but I find that there is an opamp which is used which seems to me as to amplify the voltage across the 5mohm resistor( different from the picture attached below). But I would like to know the actual gain from that point to the ADC input to the control card J1 in schematic. More specific, I would want the value of Rsense or the Rsh which is on the board.

The circuit is taken from a pdf file in DMC library under the BLDC_PWM Macro's explanation.

  • Hi Aditya,

The information is available in ControlSUITE.

Search for "8312"; the "Hardware Development Package" under Three Phase BLDC Motor Kit with DRV8312 and Piccolo MCU, Documentation has the schematic. Schematic name is DRV8312EVM_RevD_Schematic.pdf

  • Hi Rick, I actually was able to find the values of the shunt resistance. But, I'm not able to find a relation between the voltage that goes to the adc pin and the voltage across the shunt resistance. To be clear, in the schematic page 1/6, voltage across 5m ohm resistor is getting amplified due to an opamp which is fed to the J2(control card Adc pin). Could you please explain me how do I get a relation between these two. When I did try KCL,KVL my answer seems erroneous. I just wanted to confirm
