CPG004 GUI in Windows 10

Hi

I can't seem to be able to install the CPG004 software on Windows 10. Before I bother, could someone tell me that if I set the parameters in the GUI, are they persistent? That is, if I set them, are they the same when I turn the board back one. Specifically, I would like to use the GUI to set the parameters and then run the board over Linux. The USB driver is available in a Linux version from the original version. I see having to write the control software. I can modify the firmware, but the GUI seems easier. If it doesn't provide persistent parameters, I see no sense in bothering to get the Windows software working.

BTW: The "Select Tags..." dropdown only goes through the Cs.

    Hi Ralph,

    The parameters are not persistent. Once the USB is disconnected, the micro is powered down. When reconnected to the USB the micro is reset to the original settings.

    For reference, the GUI was written for XP/Windows 7 and may not be compatible with Windows 10. You may try setting the program to run in Windows 7 or XP compatibility mode.
