DRV2604L DRV2605L What is difference

the major difference is:

DRV2605L has in-chip ROM only, which has Immersion TS2200 inside.

DRV2604L has in-chip RAM only, which can be programmed.

the second difference is:

DRV2605L has audio-to-haptics function, which DRV2604L doesn't.

I think DRV2604L and DRV2605L has almost close specification.

The datasheet of DRV2604L mentions Immersion TS 3000 compatible .
What does it mean?

If the device doesn't have Immersion TS2200 inside like DRV2604L, couldn't we use haptic function?

Immersion has a software solution TS3000 for Haptics in smartphone. it uses DRV2604L to control the actuator, and also DRV2604L can provide user the best Haptics performance with TS3000.

If customer wants to use DRV2604L to add Haptics effects into his system, it's the customer's own decision whether to contact Immersion.

So, DRV2605L offer TS2200 for haptics without any additional cost, doesn't it?

(We think DRV2605L is better choice)
