May DRV2700 have webench available?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV2700

Dear Sir

May DRV2700 have webench  available?

                                 Best regards,

                                                 Bogey

  • Sorry Bogey,
It is not on webbench that I am aware of. It has a TINA model though. Is there something in particular you are looking for?
  • Dear Sir

    thanks for you reply~

May we check when we set Gain0=0,Gain1=0,then Gain db(dB) =28.8dB. it is mean AV=27.5??

the input Vp-p is always need 1.8Vp or our intput  just under 1.8 Vp. it can normal work.

                                                                  Best regards,

                                                                                Bogey

  • Bogey,

Yes you are correct on the voltage gain.

  • Dear Sir

The customer want to use our EVB to driver 100Vp 2 pcs buzzer(3KHZ 25nF 500Ω)

and use Two Terminal Single Ended Output Configuration (OUT± to BST/GND) and due to customer will use signal generator, so customer will remove MCU.

May we check some item as below:

    1.Dose DRV2700 performance is the same between Vdd 3.6V ~ 5v?

2.we will use single ended input ,may i check connect way with you? "C16 connect IN+ and single in.  C19 connect GND and IN-" or we can input single from J5??

    .we will open JP6/JP5.

3.BST still need connect to PVDD?

                                                                          Best  regards,

                                                                                       Bogey

  • Hey Bogey,
    To answer your questions:
    1. The DRV2700 will have some different performance as described in the datasheet but not much though (for example, efficiency is better at 5V). Is there something in particular you are looking for?
    2. For that configuration, the output will be noisy because the boost ripple is on both OUT+ and OUT-. The modification you are using, should work, but if you tie IN- to ground, then you will only get 1/2 the output swing.
2.a What type of control are they looking for? Maybe it would be better for you to send me what they are doing, and I can propose a configuration.
    3. Yes, you will still need to power the amplifier through PVDD using BST.
  • Hi

Due to the customer will use in test tool, so they will use single generator to DRV2700.

and due to we set to drive 2 buzzer pcs 100 Vp-p, may we check it is mean the load is 2*Cload to heck DS Figure 12. curve.

if one load is 25nf. we chec load is 2*25nf, right? and it is mean when use 50nf, we input frequescy limit around 3K?

and i check DS, DRV2700 should have no OVP function?

                                                                                                                   Best regards

                                                                                                                                       Bogey

  • Hello Bogey,

If the total load is 50nF and they are being driven in together in phase, then that should be the load you use. Looking at Fig 12, the bandwidth will not support >3kHz as you mentioned.

Also, the DRV2700 does not have over voltage protection function.

    Hope this helps.

  • Dear

May we also chec if DRV2700 having OCP&OSP function?

                                           Best regards,

                                                              Bogey

  • Bogey,
The DRV2700 does not have over current protection or open/short protection.
