Control Generator with DRV8302 Kit

Hello, I have a DRV8302 Kit with DSP F28069MISO.

I want to Now if I can control the KIT with tue machine working as a Generator (flowing current from AC to DC) and connect a load in DC bus (Resistor).

the problem is the power supply of the Kit (including DSP) is from de DC bus. can I connect a battery in DC bus in parallel with the load or resistor?

so when generator is off, the battery supply the Kit, when generator start working, and Vgen>Vbatt, generator supply the kit and the DC bus charge the battery and load. is this ok??

    I'm not sure I would advise this configuration without some careful considerations and research. This is outside of the scope of the motor driver itself and not something we have much experience with.

    A key item would be how are you going to manage the energy back into the battery?
