Stepper Motor and BDLC in one Controller

Dear Ladies and Gentleman,

I'm searching for an motor controller for BDLC and Stepper Motor.
The controller should be able to control an BDLC or a Stepper Motor
in dependence of the software.

I found the Piccolo Family with a Library for the BDLC and
I found the TM4C123 Family with a Library and Application Note for Stepper Motor.

Could I use the Piccolo for the Stepper Motor too?
I think the PWM of TM4C123 and Piccolo operates in the same way.
the prerequisites should be given in both controllers.

can I reach the function by modify the software?

    Hi Thomas,

    The Piccolo family can control BLDC, stepper motors and brushed motors

    An example of controlling steppers and brushed motors can be found in the DRV8412-C2-KIT using a F28035.

    An example of controlling BLDC motors can be found in the DRV8301-HC-C2-KIT again using a F28035.
