Design and Build a motor driver

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8301

Hi;

I am attempting to build and design a Motor driver for use with the TI C2000 TMS302F28027F Launchpad.

Essential it is a more powerful motor driver than the DRV8301 booster pack and should operate in the same fashion.

What considerations should I make to ensure compatibility, such as parts, safety and reliability - I want it to run pretty much as soon as I plug into the MCU?

Can I get an idea of the software that I will need to give it?

And just general factors that I should not over look.

I know this is a very broad question but it is essential that the motor driver be compatible with the Launchpad.

The goal of the motor is simple to PROVIDE MORE POWER TO A MOTOR (3 PHASE BLDC) FOR UAV APPLICATIONS.

Cheers
