DRV8870 - ramp rate 2V/us

Hello,

In the DRV8870 datasheet page 3, there is the rating of Power Supply voltage ramp rate(VM) as 2V/us.
Could you please let me know this meaning?
Is this rating applied to above 6.5V of VM which is recommended operating condition?
Or, is this rating applied to over VM range (-0.3V to 50V) ?
  


In the customer, start up voltage from 0V to 6.5V on the VM is very fast.(about few ns)
Is this problem?

    Hi Asaka-san,

    Does the customer have a bulk capacitor? What size is the bulk capacitor? A few ns does seem very fast.

    In general, the concern is from 0 to 6.5V. We will check to determine if this is problem.

    Why do the DRV8870 have the specification of power supply voltage ramp rate?
    I couldn't found similar specification in some other motor drivers.
