Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8834

Hi,

our customer use DRV8834 in stepper motor application. Some devices cause buzzer noise on the motor.

The problem could be fixed by dedicated device. Failure could be reproduced.

  • Hi Holger,

Please provide the schematics and measurements.

Also, please provide the model number of the stepper. Is there a capacitor across the motor windings? This could cause overcurrent which cycles the outputs at approximately 800Hz.
