Hi Mohammad,

The DRV8711 is designed as a general stepper motor controller. It is typically used for currents 2 A or larger.

The most common settings controlled by users are decay and decay timing, torque and gain, microstep mode, and idrive/tdrive.
Please refer to the related documentation at the end of the datasheet for more information.

Thanks for your nice answer ,

To connect my Stepper driver to PLC Controllers , I need PULSE- / PULSE+ and Dir-/Dir+ inputs for step and direction , DRV8711 has one step/dir pin !

I think I should separate Power GND and Signal GND of my circuit for this issue , Please help me about the circuit between my stepper driver inputs and DRV8711 step/dir pins .

Hi Mohammad,

I have merged your two post since the question is the same.

Can you provide a truth table for the operation of the PUL+/- and DIR+/-?

Also please note the ENA+/- pins are not required, but a SPI interface is required to enable the DRV8711.
