I am planning to use DRV8885 for the POS Printer design, but I would like to understand more on this device on EMI issue. Has TI done any EMI test on this device, especially when operating in the Fast decay mode?

We will look to see if EMI data was collected in fast decay.

Please note, your EMI could be affected by your layout.

Hi KH,

We have performed very limited EMI testing on the device. This was done to determine if there was anything that needed to be addressed prior to release. Nothing was found.

There was no specific data available on fast decay.

As previously mentioned, the EMI results can be affected by your system design.
