From the DRV595 system block diagram it is clear that the return of the switch transistors are separated from to the other GND pins.
There are however three GND pins on the ringht side of the chip.
Are all three floating from the rest of the chip?
How are the three pins on the right side related to each other?
Is there an internal connection on the chip afterall?
From the blockdiagram it does not seem logical with an uneven number of separate GND pins.
My plan is to measure the current through the TEC by grounding the return through a resistor.
My interpretation of the block diagam is that if the thermal pad is going to be referenced to the GND plane of the board. Then from the block diagram I understand that It needs to be connected to the GND pins not associated with the switch transistors return current.
Is this correct understood?
