Hi!

Customer is interested in DRV8872 for DC motor control but he only have one PWM signal from MCU therefore he would like to know how to connect to DRV8872 for the control?

    Hi Rex,

    Sorry for the delay.

    In many cases, there may be no need to PWM the inputs. Some applications need to set the maximum current via the ISEN resistor and enable the motor using the IN1/IN2 inputs.

    If the customer intends to PWM the inputs, please answer the following questions:
    Can the PWM signal be routed to multiple pins inside the mcu?
    Does the customer intend to run the motor in both directions?
    When running the motor, does the customer intend to use slow decay?
