Lmd18200 t motor driver

Dear sir,

My name is Ketan

I had made one DC motor driver project using lmd 18200 t ic with arduino mc. My program is so simple and working fine. My motor is brushed 24 v DC .

Program is motor fwd and reverse control by two buttons no nc type. Pwm is only 10 period of 5 sec.

Motor rotate fine but with ought load.

If I putting on belt. Tensions it can not rotate.

Pls suggest me the solution

Hi Ketan,

Please refer to the Current Limiting section of the datasheet. With the belt connected, this could be a locked rotor scenario.

What are the motor specifications?

My motor have 24 vdc 4000 rpm ,this motor is already work in inkjet printer through

L6203… ( for print head movement).

I have purchase ckt module from twovolt.com lmd18200t

When I operate through arduino program I use only pwm and direction input

Withought load working fine.

Can you help me compeltee ckt diagram .
I am beginners in this project. And I want to learn.

Hi Ketan,

When the load is added, it is changing the current requirements of the system. Can you compare the outputs and thermal flag of the device with and without load with a scope. This should help determine why the load is affecting operation.

I want to show you a diagram of my ckt www.twovolt.com/.../

As per above diagram its working fine withought load, I measure with the digital
Multimeter current flow in motor wthought load is 0 .17 ma only.

Actually I need other ckt diagram which is work properly as per your experience
And my need.

I don't have a SCOP.

I measure the current flow in motor is 0.17 ma withought

Load.

I need ckt diagram which actually work completely. As per you experience.
