DRV8871: DRV8871 half bridge mode

Part Number: DRV8871

Hi everyone,
my issue is a verification in half bridge mode about an use of DRV8871.
Teorically it could be fine but i don't know the internal logic level how it work.
I would know if someone could confirm this use of DRV8871 or it could became a problem.

Do you have any suggestion?

    Hi Alberto,

    The DRV8871 has an internal pulldown on both IN1 and IN2 pins. This is specified as 100k Ohms.

    Adding an external 1k Ohm resistor to ground on either of these pins is not an issue with this device.

    If your external controller supplying the IN1 signal can supply enough current to drive this 1k ohm resistance this configuration should not be a problem for our device.
