hello:
recently i have several 8305 damaged when i use 8305 drive a damage motor.the motor was damaged with a pahse having 0 inductance .
in this case ,the 8305 should protect .but the 8305 was damaged with avdd pin has no votage out. i use a multimeter test the avdd pin,it has shorted to gnd.
why this happens.what should i do to prevent this happen.

system voltage:24VDC
max current:i tests my board at phase current 20 A,it works well.but when i tests with a motor with 2 phase shorted,the 8305 damage soon(less then 5 seconds).
bulk capacitor :470uf

power up Damaged board:
vreg(pin 48) have 5V,DVDD(pin 46) have 3.3V,AVDD(Pin 15) have 0v. nFault(pin 8) have 0V
power down Damaged board:
AVDD have few ohms(less then 10 ohms measured use multimeter).
when it happens:
I power up my board with the damaged motor(2 phase are shorted,the last is ok).then 8305 is damaged with avdd short to gnd.
My board can work well in normal times with 24VDC supply 20A motor phase current.
