DRV8835: Does DRV8835DSSR requires diodes to protect motor's inductive spiking?

Part Number: DRV8835
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3200

Hi, I have to control 2 brushed DC motor using DRV8835DSSR.

According to the datasheet, I don't see diodes inside except the diode mark at each NFET and PFET.

As far as I know, the DC motor causes inductive spikes.

Currently, I've configured my schematic like this. I use the CC3200 QFN MCU.

The DC motor draws 1A when 9V full duty PWM is inserted.

So, should I add diodes to the AOUT1/2 and BOUT1/2?
