DRV8871: Current sense monitoring measurement from the DRV8871 using the ILIM pin - is this possible?

Hi ,

I was wondering if it is possible to monitor the H bridge current if I also connect a high impedance OP AMP (in series with the limit resistor ILIM pin) ??

Hi Michael,

It is not possible.

The DRV8870 and DRV8872 (both without internal current sensing) have the ability to monitor H bridge current using external sense resistors.
