DRV8412: DRV8412 about the dead time

Hi Team,

The customer is using DRV8412. The dead time is 5.5ns when IO is 5A on page 8 of the datasheet.

Can the dead time be changed? If it can be changed, how to change the dead time?

If it cannot be changed, can you tell me the reason?

Hi Mickey,

The dead time cannot be changed. With integrated FETs, there is generally no need to change the dead time.

The device was designed for high PWM frequencies (up to 500kHz) Dead time was minimized to achieve this.
