Hello, I need controller a brushless motor DC sensorless. is this driver good option?

in datasheet I see the point 8.2.1. Design requeriments.

I don´t know the motor winding resistence and motor winding inductance.

I send question to maker motor and he answer this paramaters are not normally used for designed becose the motor have a electronic control.

I need this parameters to design?

can you explain this parameter?

The DRV8842 is intended for brushed motor drivers.

What is the motor model you would like to control? Do you intend to run trapezoidal or FOC?
You need to know some parameters, such as system voltage, motor stall current, motor rated voltage. These parameters help narrow the options.

I attached the motor caracteristics. model 150918

the control for this motor I think will made whith the trapezoidal system. .

this motor has trhee wire, third wire to power the motor controller separately from the motor winding.

is a brusless motor and sensorlees.

Hi user4898660,

What is your system voltage? Do you plan to use the 5V or 14V version?

I am assuming you are using the 14V version of the 150918 and the optional motor configuration with connection to external controller.

The DRV8305 with external mcu and FETs would be a good choice.
