DRV8305-Q1: driver has abnormal waveform

Part Number: DRV8305-Q1

1-They found DRV8305-Q1 driver isn’t steady, seems has low frequency stack in the driver. Can you please help check if it is caused by interference.

2-In the dead time, the CH2 high side driver has abnormal waveform, I suggest customer to adjust dead time to get some Improvement, seems enlarge dead time can get better performance, but has a negative voltage , can you please help give your comments why the dead time can make driver has abnormal waveform ?

  • Hi Haiwan,

Can you provide more information of the scope captures? What is Channel 1, 2, 3, and 4 in each scope capture?
Does each pair of output FETs have the same operation?
If it is just one, what is different about the one pair versus the other two?

1 -- What do you mean "please check if it is caused by interference"? What type of interference?

2--Can you provide both the SPI settings and the schematic from the DRV8305-Q1 to the FETs?

    Thanks for your reply.

Picture 65,66,67 , CH2 is the low side driver

Picture 76,86,98, CH1 is the high side driver, CH2 is the low side driver

1- I mean the driver in picture 65 seems has low frequent noise ripple stack in MOSFET driver,

2-i attached schematic , please help check if it has something wrong. Thanks.
